Volvo Lounge @ Delhi Airport Terminal 3 – 2014-15-16

As the high-end automobile market steadily picks up in India, Swedish car manufacturer, Volvo, drives closer to its customers at T3 Terminal - Delhi Airport.

The concept was created and implemented by Creatigies.

The Volvo Lounge, launched at Terminal 3 of New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport in March 2014.
Volvo Lounge, playing the twin role of Car Display and offering best-in-class Swedish luxury through an exclusive space created for the potential customers to help them relax while waiting to board their flight.
This was Volvo's first such initiative anywhere in the world, and T3 was chosen for its “heavy influx of high-profile buyers” from all across South Asia.

Comfortably seating around 20 people, the plush lounge offered a well-stocked snack bar.
Wall mounted metal ‘swatches’ in all the colours available, and Volvo’s whole range of upholstery samples gave prospective buyers a visual treat of vehicle’s plush interiors and body colour variations to visualise the finished car.

Adjoining the lounge was a permanent space for the car display manned by well- groomed and trained Volvo Executives to share an in-depth info on the vehicle at display and range of Volvo Cars.

Use of the lounge was by invitation only.
Two types of cards were issued, Platinum - to the existing Volvo customers, and Gold, - to hand-picked potential customers. Car holders could bring in 2 guests to the lounge every time they transit through T3.

Volvo Lounge presented one of the base case studies in experiential marketing.
