Creatigies approached Reebok with an SMS based contest on Cricket Cafe, Zee Sports during DLF Cup, Abu Dhabi Series, 2006 (India v/s Pakistan) and Tri-nation DLF Cup in Malaysia where India played Australia and the West Indies
During the pre-match, mid-match and post-match segment of Cricket Cafe the bat became an integral part of the programme where the host and the expert panel used the bat as a prop, as a debating point and as a motivational prize to get viewers involvement and excitement
The viewer’s were invited to participate through an sms based contest where the autographed Reebok English Willow Bat was the bumper prize.
More than 35,000 sms messages were received on the first day of the contest itself, in the space of 45 minutes….. and the Reebok bats were a success in the market place and beat all forecasts.
