HTC India tied up with Cinepolis Cinemas across the country to promote their new products through on-screen and off-screen. In total 21 cities, 43 multiplexes and 234 screens across the country.
The promotion was for 26 weeks. 10 sec special animation slide with voice over just before the start of the movie saying “Keep your phones on silent mode” was well appreciated by the movie lovers. On-screen a 20 sec HTC TVC was shown before the start of the movie. The promotion was also through digital screens and static screens at the multiplexes. HTC branding was also on Cinepolis website and facebook page.
HTC display zones at 41 multiplexes to display the various mobile phones. Trained technicians/promoters were deputed at each of the display zones to explain the phone features etc to people coming to the display zone to enquire about the phones.
